Product Description
Get to Know This Coffee Like wandering through a blooming hillside just after rain, this coffee is kissed by sunshine and invites you to take the long way home. It's gentle, vibrant, and quietly unforgettable.
The Details This beautiful Bourbon variety is grown by smallholder farmers in Rwanda’s Nyamasheke district, near the Nyungwe Forest and Lake Kivu. Elevations range from 6,070 to 7,220 feet, with fertile black humus and sandy soils. The coffee is naturally processed and dried on raised beds at the Cyato Washing Station, capturing the bold fruit character and vibrant clarity the region is known for.
Enjoy canteloupe, floral, toffee notes in this medium-light roast.
What's Cool One wild and wonderful twist: native honeybees play a role in shaping this coffee’s flavor through natural pollination. These bees thrive in the surrounding forest, contributing to the unique expression of the cup. Plus, the farmers here use no synthetic inputs—just traditional, sustainable practices that let nature lead the way. The Cyato Washing Station, established in 2017, works with nearby communities to bring in cherries from multiple villages, supporting a growing network of independent, high-quality producers.
