The Details This natural processed Gesha variety coffee is grown at about 4600 ft by farmer Omar Cardenas Benavides. The coffee is only picked when totally ripe, every 15-20 days, then pulped and dry fermented for 18-20 hours. After this, the coffee is rinsed 3 times before drying in parabolic dryers for up to 18 days.

What's Cool Omar planted his first 300 coffee trees when he was just seven years old, guided by his father’s hands and a shared love for the land. That early start grew into a lifelong passion. He and his wife now farm four more hectares of coffee together, building a life (and family) rooted in coffee. Their dedication has helped fund their children’s education and earned Omar recognition as a Best Cup finalist. Today, he’s proud to represent his community as a producer of exceptional coffee, continuing to refine his craft with the support of local agronomists.
