What's Cool Coffee was first cultivated in Ethiopia in the 1500s, and 500 years later, the ritualized coffee ceremony known as bunna is still part of Ethiopian culture. Coffee is roasted over hot coals in a Brazier, ground with a traditional wooden mortar and pestle, then boiled in a jebena. Coffee is poured in 3 rounds, the first being strong, then lighter and lighter. The bunna is seen as a time for family and friends to talk and engage the senses.
